Commission certifies updated clerical and laborer eligibility lists

The Avon Civil Service Commission certified updated clerical and laborer eligibility lists after a presentation from Recording Secretary Diane Szlempa. Szlempa said 29 expired names were removed from the clerical list and two names were added; for the laborer list she said 29 names were added and three names were removed because those candidates had been hired from the list.
Commissioner Bill Greaney moved to approve the updated clerical and laborer lists and Commissioner Alan Wojciechowski seconded. The motion passed unanimously, 3-0.
