Peekskill advances DRI wayfinding project and conditional public-art donations
Planning staff previewed DRI-funded downtown wayfinding signs — kiosks, parking directionals and two vehicular gateway signs — and said $40,000 has already been spent on design. Separately, the Peekskill Arts Alliance presented community-made mural 'quilt' panels; staff recommended accepting donations only after building-owner memorandums of understanding and Arts Council review.
