The Vernon County Planning Commission adopted an amended draft of the county plan by consensus during its Sept. 11 meeting after staff summarized feedback gathered during recent public input sessions. Jack Zabrowski presented the summary and said most public comments already were reflected in the draft, and the commission worked with him on integrated changes.
The action was recorded as an adoption by consensus rather than a roll-call vote. Commissioners discussed study items such as a karst analysis and requested that any additional revisions be carried into next-month work. The commission also directed staff to continue integrating public feedback as part of the next revision cycle and scheduled follow-up items for the October meeting.
