The Princeton school board voted to fill the vacated director seat by appointment for the remainder of the 2026 calendar year. The motion was made by Eric Strandberg and seconded by Jennifer (Jen) Super and passed unanimously; the board agreed that an appointment rather than an immediate special-election-only process would be used to ensure representation through year-end.
