The commission approved a Certificate of Appropriateness for a substantial rear renovation at 212 Cypress Street on April 1. Applicant Robert Marty outlined plans to remove an unsafe existing porch, construct two 9-by-11 rear additions with a central covered lower patio deck and second-story deck access, and install black metal roofing and historically styled black vinyl windows in a later phase.
