Polk County commissioners adopted multiple planning items on consent or with brief presentation, including Minute Maid Ramp Road (residential-high to tourism commercial center), Lake Daisy (recreational open space to residential low and companion subdistrict change), and a small-scale US 98 employment center map change in Highland City.

During expedited and regular public hearings the board adopted several comprehensive plan changes and subdistrict adjustments. Ben Ziskel presented Minute Maid Ramp Road (a future land-use change from residential high to tourism commercial center on 3.2 acres) and staff recommended adoption; there were no public speakers and the board approved the adoption.
