Polk County approves DATAMARK contracts to modernize E‑911 GIS data
The board approved two five-year agreements with DATAMARK Technologies to implement and host next-generation 911 GIS data services: a technical services contract (one-time implementation plus annual support) and a cloud-based validation/editing/promulgation service. Funding is from the Emergency Management E‑911 fund.

County manager's office recommended two agreements with DATAMARK Technologies to bring Polk County’s emergency‑services GIS data into conformance with next‑generation 911 standards. The first is a technical implementation agreement (one-time implementation and annual support) to assess, develop and correct Polk County’s E‑911 boundary layers and GIS datasets; the second is a cloud-based software-as-a-service solution to validate, edit and promulgate public-safety GIS data.
