Regional planner flags Spring City zoning ordinance reference; amendment draft expected
Jonathon Rush of Southeast Tennessee Development told the commission that Section 5.05 of the city's zoning ordinance should reference Section 9.07A (not 10.07) and recommended allowing multiple buildings in commercial zones; he said he will bring an ordinance amendment draft to next month's meeting.

Jonathon Rush, regional planner with Southeast Tennessee Development, notified the Spring City Planning Commission that a correction is needed in the city's zoning ordinance. Specifically, Rush said Section 5.05 should refer to Section 9.07A rather than 10.07 and that ordinance language should include provisions so commercially zoned districts may contain multiple buildings.
