The Splendora ISD Board of Trustees approved two personnel hires during the May 18 meeting. The board approved hiring Kimberly Burke as the Elementary ELAR Coordinator; the motion was made by Travis “Doc” Jones and seconded by Jennifer Stewart and carried by recorded vote 6–0.
