District leaders told attendees they are tracking more than $1,000,000 in deferred maintenance across several buildings and that major repairs are coming due. Kim listed five buildings with aging roofs, including Mark Twain, and said the cost for a single roof replacement could be "upwards of $1,000,000 or more." She also warned that the football field turf will likely need replacement in three to four years, at a cost of several hundred thousand dollars.
