Tarkington ISD staff presented a proposed Grant Agreement with Region 4 Education Service Center to provide Rapid Instructional Enhancement (RISE) support, and trustees discussed the program's potential benefits and concerns. Mrs. Edie Lang, Director of Elementary Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment, and Mrs. Ami Potts, Chief of Schools, led the presentation; Superintendent Dr. Elna Davis and campus principals Dr. Mary Lariviere (Tarkington Middle School) and Mr. Brandon O'Neal (Tarkington Elementary School and Tarkington Early Childhood School) also provided perspectives on implementation challenges and advantages.
