Engineer: parking, dumpster screening and driveway will require plan updates before cannabis tenant opens

Borough engineering and planning professionals identified several site-improvement items the applicant must address before final sign-off: pavement striping for the site’s one-way flow, clearer directional signage, dumpster screening or enclosure, and verification of accessible-parking locations relative to an existing patio.
Engineer Chuck Endicott confirmed the applicant will reuse the existing asphalt parking lot and provide 72 spaces on the plan; he said the project will include crack-seal, seal-coat and restriping. Borough Engineer Steve Cosaboon requested expanded screening so dumpsters are not visible from the road and recommended additional pavement striping and signage to clarify entrances and circulation. Cosaboon also noted the driveway is on a county road and that increased site intensity may require improving the apron; the applicant said they have initiated county discussions and will comply with any county specifications.
The board instructed the applicant to provide a dumpster-screening sketch and to coordinate final pavement striping and ADA parking locations with borough professionals prior to final sign-off.
