The Van Alstyne ISD Board adopted the referenced policies in Board Policy Update 126 during its Dec. 15 meeting. Trustee Beau Williams made the motion; Trustee Mark Freeman seconded, and the board voted 6–0 to adopt the update as recommended by the superintendent.
