Board approves state study to start Forks Middle School replacement process

The Quillayute Valley School District board voted to accept the state study and survey needed to begin a replacement project for Forks Middle School. Superintendent Diana said the study costs about $24,000 and will be reimbursed by the School Construction Assistance Program, funded in part with timber dollars, which allows the district to hire an architect and form a community advisory committee.
