Selectboard fills committees and dissolves Eden Energy Committee

The board approved appointments to several committees and tasked the clerk's office to advertise remaining open positions. Appointments recorded in the minutes include Ricky Morin to the Transportation Advisory Committee (and Molly Morin as alternate), Tim Bullard to the Sheriff's Department Advisory, Faye Cochran to the Newport Ambulance Advisory, Kristina Brown and others to the Eden Youth Sports Committee, and Kristina Brown, Julie Gates and Dan Lathrop to the Eden Planning Commission; one seat on the planning commission and two seats on the youth sports committee remain open. Carey Earle was recorded as the board's representative to LFCUD (Broadband). Ricky moved to appoint and advertise; Tim seconded and the motion passed.

Separately, the board voted to dissolve the Eden Energy Committee until it is needed again. Clayton motioned to dissolve the committee and Ricky seconded; the motion was approved. The minutes do not include discussion detailing reasons for the dissolution or plans for future reactivation.
