The Altamonte Springs City Commission on May 19 voted to waive competitive solicitation and name Cummins Inc. d/b/a Cummins Sales and Service as the sole‑source vendor for mechanical repair services and extended warranties for emergency generators at the Regional Water Reclamation Facility and lift stations (contract SS‑26‑074‑KY). Mayor Bates read the item into the record and Commissioner Reece moved to approve the finance item; Commissioner Turney seconded and the motion carried unanimously by the three members present.
