City Administrator Derrick Champion told the council that bids for the Tree Equity Program were due May 19, 2026, but none were submitted. "Bids for the Tree Equity Program were due on May 19, 2026; however, no bids were submitted," he said, and the city engineer will extend the bidding period and reach out to appropriate contractors.
