Council authorizes bid documents for park improvement project using DCED grant funds

At its Oct. 14 meeting, Red Lion Borough Council authorized the preparation of bid documents for a park improvement project to be completed with DCED grant funds. The motion was made by Mrs. Barley and seconded by Mr. Holloway; all members voted in favor and the motion carried.
Engineer Jeff Shue also reported a preconstruction meeting for wall repairs at 33 W. Broadway is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 18 at 9 a.m. The minutes record Council's authorization to proceed to bidding for the park project but do not include project estimates or a bid schedule; staff and the engineer will prepare bid documents.
