A board member moved that the Selectboard "authorize change orders for the town office renovation project...to replace parking lot sub base at a cost of $16,675," and the motion carried on a voice vote.
Town administrator Eileen Tullock reported the renovation work is nearly finished: "Internet and phone were installed last week, and desks were moved into offices, and we all vacated downstairs." Members said exterior painting and parking-lot paving remain and warned residents that the lot has large potholes until paving is completed.
The board also voted to resume regular meetings at the town office at 100 Old School Street beginning the meeting on 06/02/2025 and approved naming the new select boardroom the "John Morris Room" to honor a long-time local teacher. Staff were asked to arrange signage and to circulate updated meeting location details to the public.
