Jeff Bridger, representing NV Energy, said utility planning shows unprecedented demand driven by data‑center interest: "NV Energy has requests for energy totaling approximately 22,000 megawatts," he said, and described a 2026 integrated resource plan that includes roughly 4,500 MW of renewables, about 5,400 MW of battery storage and roughly 1,200 MW of natural gas to maintain reliability.
