Residents urge River Ridge board to address Lake 8 flooding as foundation damage reported
Oak Run residents praised Seaside repairs and asked the River Ridge board to consider similar work near Lake 8 to stop prolonged pooling that residents say is reaching foundations; the board said it will consider the project in the FY2025/2026 budget.

Rich Batterberry, representing Oak Run residents, told the River Ridge Board that remediation work done at Seaside 1 and Seaside 2 was received "very favorable" and urged the district to consider similar measures around Lake 8 to address long-lasting pooled rainwater.
