Commissioner Donna Gravley informed the board that Emergency Management Director Paul Johnson nominated Assistant County Engineer and Solid Waste Administrator Kyle Pillatzki for the Outstanding Contribution to Emergency Management Award for work on debris removal following the 2024 flooding. The minutes record that Pillatzki received the award in February 2025 and commissioners congratulated him.
