The Douglas County Board of Equalization approved two procedural items: the minutes from the July 28 Board of Equalization meeting and a resolution setting Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026, as the hearing date for certified assessment corrections that reflect omitted property or increased property values. The motion was moved by Commissioner Rogers and seconded by Commissioner Morgan and passed unanimously.
The board then considered resolutions labeled C–K. Legal counsel advised that item E needed to be laid over for one week because the version in the board book did not match the corrected version available to the public and in the chamber; County Attorney staff confirmed the correct version was in the public-facing materials. The board approved resolutions C through K (with E laid over) and adjourned the equalization meeting.
