The Elko County Planning Commission approved a variance request from Rex J. Featherston to reduce a side‑yard setback from 20 feet to 10 feet to accommodate a new detached garage in Spring Creek. Commissioner (speaker 6) moved to approve the application "with staff's recommendations, findings, and conditions," the motion was seconded and the chair announced the motion carries.
