Fairgrounds director distributes open class book, highlights event changes and 250th display

Kimber Solberg, director of the Fair Neck County Fairgrounds, told commissioners the open class book for the county fair is now available and will be distributed to libraries, post offices and businesses around the county.
Solberg said event changes include renaming the teddy bear dress competition to an "Anything Americana" class and expanding the pie auction to include other exhibited home goods, such as quilts and artwork. "On each on each of your chairs was the open class book that is now available to the public," Solberg said, and she invited community members to call or email the fair office with questions.
