The Elko County Board of Commissioners voted to award the county’s annual magnesium chloride (MAG) contract to EnviroTech Services for the program that treats gravel roads across the county. County Road Superintendent Dennis Price described the MAG work as "our annual, part of our annual MAG program," and said the contract covers nearly 150 miles of gravel roads and takes roughly two to three months to apply.
