Elko County approves third amendment with Liberty Vote Systems to add two tabulators
The board approved a contract amendment to add two ImageCast precinct tabulators (for West Wendover and Carlin), funded from the Clerk's Technology Fund; Clerk Rebecca Plunk invited the public to an April 10 demonstration of ballot-marking devices and tabulators.

The board voted to approve the third amendment to the county’s contract with Liberty Vote Systems to acquire two additional ImageCast precinct tabulators intended for West Wendover and Carlin polling places. Elko County Clerk Rebecca Plunk told the commission the devices will be used with new ballot-marking devices (which print a paper ballot) and explained that printed ballots will be scanned by tabulators and the results stored on an SD card that will be returned to the clerk’s office for tabulation.
