After the assembly returned from its executive session, a member moved that the tapes of the executive session "be kept confidential for the duration of the attorney client privilege between the municipal attorney's office and the group assembly." The motion was seconded and the chair called for objections; hearing none, the chair announced the motion was adopted.
The chair restated that the assembly made a single procedural motion during the executive session (an extension of the meeting time) and that no other substantive actions were taken while the room was closed. The confidentiality motion was framed explicitly as protecting attorney–client communications; no roll-call vote tally was recorded on the public transcript, and the adoption was recorded as having occurred by unanimous consent (no objections were voiced).
