River Ridge CDD adopts FY2024/25 budget with amendments

The River Ridge Community Development District board adopted its Fiscal Year 2024/25 budget on Aug. 27, 2024, approving Resolution 2024-07 after amending the agenda and correcting clerical errors in the draft. The fiscal year covered by the budget runs Oct. 1, 2024, through Sept. 30, 2025.
District Manager Chuck Adams told the board that the version of the budget in the meeting packet "is not correct" and staff made additional changes to correct scrivener errors, including revisions to the "Street sweeping" description. Mrs. Adams opened and closed the public hearing after no affected property owners spoke. On motion by Mr. Blumenthal, seconded by Mr. Twombly, the board adopted Resolution 2024-07 as amended, authorizing future budget amendments.
The board's formal action provides the district with authority for the annual appropriations and affirms procedures for certifying and amending the adopted budget. The item passed "with all in favor," with Supervisors Mountford, Blumenthal, Twombly and Chair Schultz recorded as participating.
