The Nash County Board of Commissioners on July 13 approved a contract for engineering services for Middlesex Corporate Centre infrastructure improvements — water extension — awarding the work to The Wooten Company. Commissioner Freddy Howell moved the contract award; Commissioner Gwen Wilkins seconded the motion and it passed with Commissioner Robbie B. Davis recorded as voting "no."
