Board approves routine resolutions, delegates authority to superintendent after closed session
Trustees approved an annual appraisal-district vote, a special-ed cooperative retention stipend resolution, and, after executive session, delegated authority to the superintendent to negotiate a one-acre property sale in Gunnar; board recessed to executive session under Texas Government Code sections 551.072, 551.074 and 551.076.

The board took several formal actions during the meeting. The board approved a resolution casting votes for a candidate to the Grayson Central Appraisal District, endorsing Charlie Williams for another term. The board also approved a resolution allowing the Grayson County Special Education cooperative to pay a retention stipend to its staff; the motion was moved and seconded and the board recorded aye votes.
