County engineer reports FEMA bridge work underway, seeks grading/operator training pipeline
County Engineer Justin Barfield told commissioners a FEMA bridge replacement contract has begun (work on Caldwell and Line roads), the Rebuild Alabama paving contractor requested a start delay until early 2026, and the county is pursuing a Motor Grader Operator certification with Enterprise State College after finding no qualified applicants.
