Commission approves Farm Center change orders and signs courthouse substantial-completion resolution
Change orders on the Farm Center renovation reduced the contract price by $53,866.02 to $2,517,391.98; commissioners approved the changes and authorized the chairman to sign. The commission also authorized the chairman to sign the certificate of substantial completion for the Courthouse renovation dated April 17, 2025.

County Attorney Phil Eldridge told commissioners that five approved change orders on the Farm Center renovation resulted in a net decrease of $53,866.02 from an original contract price of $2,571,258.00, yielding a final contract amount of $2,517,391.98. Commissioners voted 3-0 to approve the change orders and authorized Chairman Toby Seay to sign the necessary documents.
