A county planning committee met online to review draft guiding principles for the Greater Rigby area, a roughly 30-square-mile planning zone identified for focused growth. Staff member leading the meeting said the goal is to concentrate new development inside that area while protecting farmland outside it and to prepare policy language that will guide future zoning decisions.
