Local coalition and schools highlight Narcan distribution, call for training and harm reduction
The county's substance use coalition has distributed roughly 25 harm-reduction kits in three months and urged more Narcan and lock-box distribution; Phillips School District reported a donated Narcan kit that has not been used in three years and recommended staff training and partnerships.

JoJo Baratka of the Price County substance abuse and mental health coalition described ongoing prevention and harm-reduction outreach, including distribution of kits containing two doses of Narcan. "In the last three months, Baratka has handed out approximately 25 kits including two doses of Narcan in each kit," she said, and urged wider distribution of lock boxes, tear-out bags and Narcan direct as part of prevention efforts.
