The commission approved a preliminary plat that replats two lots at 4727 North Midkiff Road for future commercial development; staff noted a zone change will be required later because the planned restaurants would include drive-thrus that are not allowed in the current LR zoning.

Planner Lori Elliott presented a preliminary plat by Maverick Engineering on behalf of STRR Investments LLC to replat property at 4727 North Midkiff Road into two lots for commercial use. The site currently contains a fast-food restaurant and the proposal would split the parcel into two restaurant lots that are expected to include drive-thru facilities.
