Clark County recognizes Utilities staff for new Ohio EPA operator licenses

Utilities Director Chuck Bauer told the board Jan. 14 that five Utilities Department employees recently received Ohio EPA licenses for drinking water and wastewater operation. Bauer named Drew Thompson, Ben Moore, Bill Boggs, Dean Ziegler and Jacob Barger and thanked them for achieving the certifications that allow the county to safely operate drinking-water and sanitary-sewer systems.
Commissioner Sasha L. Rittenhouse publicly thanked the staff and emphasized drinking water’s importance to the community. The recognition appeared at the start of the regular session and was recorded in the meeting minutes.
