Council approves amendments to banner permit rules and expands allowed zones
Ordinance 2026-02 updates Chapter 10-24-7 to add permit requirements, safety standards, and to allow banners in the PU zone as well as VC and CC zones; council approved the ordinance unanimously.

Zoning Administrator Kyndal Sagers told the council that Ordinance 2026-02 incorporated edits requested at a prior meeting to clarify banner permit processes, expand safety standards and expand permitted zones to include Village Commercial (VC), Central Commercial (CC) and Public Use (PU).
