Discounted water testing events scheduled; WIC outreach and Farmers Market program update

Sanitarian and environmental staff reported collaboration with Vernon and Crawford Land and Water to offer discounted water testing events: Crawford County on Nov. 4 and Vernon County on Nov. 13, with a $25 fee covering both bacteria and nitrate testing for participants who sign up. Staff said sanitary surveys and sampling for the Transient Non‑Community (TNC) Well Program are wrapping up, and that four open environmental cases remain; staff also noted ongoing data‑sharing with a La Crosse County CDC grant.
