Board pledges $10,000 match for Conservation master plan grant application

Marshall County Conservation Director Emily Herring asked the Board for support of a letter of intent to the Martha Ellen Tye Foundation to fund a comprehensive facilities master plan estimated at $50,000. Herring said Conservation has secured $30,000 and is seeking the remaining $20,000 through grant funding and local support; she requested the Board commit $10,000 in matching funds contingent on Foundation approval.
