Barb McIntyre, Human Resources Director for Lincoln-Lancaster County HR, presented comparability data for unrepresented employees during the July 30 staff meeting and reported the comparability figure is "approximately 3%."
McIntyre reviewed recent history of adjustments: 2% in 2025, 4.5% in 2024 and 2023 for various employee groups, and noted the county can calculate cost estimates for whatever increase the board prefers. She said she will return next week for a final decision from the Board.
How this matters: the comparability number will inform the board's decision on a cost-of-living adjustment for unrepresented employees and affect the county's compensation budget if adopted.
