The O'Brien County Board of Supervisors voted to go into closed session at 5:10 p.m. on July 24, 2025, pursuant to Iowa Code 21.5(i) to interview a candidate for county engineer. The motion to enter closed session was moved by Supervisor Friedrichsen and seconded by Supervisor McDowell; the minutes record ayes from Rohwer, Thomas, Vanden Hull, McDowell and Friedrichsen.
