Jail administrator reports 196 at Comanche County Detention Center; five transferred to DOC

Jail Administrator David Weber told the Comanche County Facilities Authority on April 13 that as of April 10, 2026 the Comanche County Detention Center (CCDC) had a count of 196 inmates, comprised of "144 males and 52 females." Weber said five inmates were ready for transfer to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections and that five inmates had been transferred this week.
Weber also provided the broader custody picture: "as of today, there are 210 inmates at CCDC, 123 inmates at other counties, for a combined total of 333." The update was delivered during the Authority's regular meeting in Room 302 of the Comanche County Courthouse. No formal action was taken on population management during the session.
