The Board of Commissioners on Sept. 11 approved the appointment of Keith Piazza to the Lander County Planning Commission for a four-year term beginning July 1, 2025 and ending June 30, 2029. Staff said Piazza apologized for not attending the meeting and that the planning-commission chairman, Monte Price, supports the appointment.
