Residents: county air monitors installed; Chamber previews documentary proposal

During the public-comment period Pam Harrington (S9) told the commission the county has installed air monitors that report PM2.5 levels online; she said the first monitor is at the Civic Center and additional monitors are planned for Austin, the roads department and the county building and that the readings will be published in the county newsletter.
Holly Greasch (S10) of the Chamber of Commerce said the Chamber is adding more advertising focused on "Lander County," has posted an ad for the senior center craft fair and has been approached by a film-maker with prior PBS work who proposed a documentary on the county; she said that proposal will be on a future agenda for commissioners to consider.
