Kay County backs BIP grant and approves bridge title sheet amid storm repairs
Commissioners reported storm-related road repairs, approved a title sheet for Bridge CN 174 (124th Street over Deer Creek) as a CBRI Dist#3 environmental project, and voted to support a CED8 Bridge Investment Program grant to replace four Panhandle bridges.

Commissioners reported extensive road and bridge work after recent storms. Commissioner Shane Jones said crews repaired washouts, hauled millings and performed shoulder work for the Enterprise Road Overlay Project. Commissioner Jason Shanks said crews placed high-water signs following flooding and that Evans and Associates started work on the Peckham Road–BIA Kaw Nation Project.
