The Ways & Means Committee recommended approval of a $7,500 ControlNet proposal to upgrade the women's cell block RTU controls to a web‑based Niagara N4 DDC system and relocate the thermostat, to be funded from the Capital Improvement Fund.

The committee reviewed a proposal presented by Maintenance Supervisor Tom Williams to upgrade a rooftop unit in the jail women's cell block. The work would install ControlNet's web‑based open system of Direct Digital Control using Tridium's Niagara N4 framework and relocate the thermostat.
