State ends DECAT and CPPC programs; Floyd County approves PTO payout for coordinator
Following notice that Iowa will eliminate DECAT and CPPC programs effective June 30, 2026, the Floyd County Board approved a payout of accrued PTO to Jill McKeen and directed follow-up on disposition of remaining Fund 27000 balances with neighboring counties.

Chair Gloria Carr told the board that Iowa legislation will eliminate the DECAT and Community Partnerships for Protecting Children (CPPC) programs effective June 30, 2026. In response, the board approved a motion to pay out accrued paid time off to Jill McKeen, the DECAT & CPPC coordinator; the motion carried 3-0.
