Administrator/Controller John F. Fuentes told the board the arbitrator's decision in the Command Officers' contract dispute split awards between employer and union proposals. The arbitrator awarded the employer's proposals for 2025 and 2027 wages and for specific employer-side provisions including sick leave payout, holiday premium for working, defined contribution enhancement, overtime equalization, and lifetime retiree healthcare. The arbitrator awarded the union's proposal for 2026 wages, the retroactivity provision, a nightshift premium, and an Act 312 waiver/healthcare alliance related to healthcare.
