Rhonda Granger, candidate for Point Roberts Water District No. 4, told forum attendees she was surprised to learn the community lacks a local water source and depends on Canada. "I was surprised to learn that we don't actually have our own water source. We depend on Canada for our water," she said, and urged planning for the contract that expires in 2037.
